પૈસામાં ચાલવું રાત્રિની ભીડમાં થઈને,

પૈસા વડે રક્ષાઈને, પૈસા વડે છાનાં થઈને, ઝાંખા પડીને
પૈસા વડે,
ટોળું પોતે જ પૈસો,
શ્વાસ પૈસો,
નાનામાં નાનો કોઈ એક પદાર્થ પણ ક્યાંય એવો નહીં જે પૈસો ન હોય,
પૈસો, પૈસો જ સર્વત્ર અને તોય અપૂરતો,
અને પછી પૈસાનો અભાવ,
અથવા થોડો પૈસો અથવા ઓછો કે વધુ પૈસો,
પણ પૈસો, હંમેશા પૈસો,
અને હા, તમારી પાસે પૈસો છે અથવા તો નથી.

એ પૈસો જ છે જેની ગણના છે

અને પૈસો જ પૈસો બનાવે છે,

પણ શું છે જે બનાવે છે પૈસાને પૈસો ?
